Hey Capt. I am visiting CR in general and San Jose to start with from January to April. I am using this period to scout out the area for towns I would like to live in as I plan to move there for several years. I want to use San Jose as my base and rent a car to then explore the area. I would like some advise on hotels / apartments / boarding rooms / etc for places to rent during this period. Currently I have a week reserved at an apartment / hotel in San Jose that I found on hotwire. I am trying to place my own post on the costa rica board, but have not been able to figure it out. So I am writing you in hopes you can offer some advise.
